On Lab forums, the sister site, we all pay a yearly subscription if we want to be regular posters, its a bit like a social club I suppose. Petchat is a fully dynamic website and runs on a server that I lease out. Obviously initially when I set the website up (Back in July 2004) there was a considerable amount of time and effort taken to do so. As time progresses when I have time, I add functionality / tweak things etc Petchat is growing and every month it consumes that bit more bandwidth, bandwidth costs money.
