Been away from work for the last week or so (moved house) and therefore have been unable to get connected to the site with no access at home yet. Whilst reading up on Hungarian Vizsla before accuiring a puppy they were often reffered to as 'Velcro Dogs' as they didn't like to be apart from human company for too long.
Teal'c had his second injection and myself and Rob had a long discussion about letting him off the lead for a free run or not. we practiced calling him back to us in the safety of the garden and he obeyed. So after some more discussion we decided to let the little boy off the lead at the local water park!!!! he abruptly sat on our feet and didn't move until we put his lead back on!!!! lol. We hadn't seen his 'Velcro side' until now. As for him being a 'gun dog' he is scared of ducks and geese and birds and dogs and cats and loud noises and his reflection in glass doors!!!! he much prefers adult company.

ah bless, but he will find confidence soon, then you will wonder what happened....wilson did the same thing the first few times we let him off his lead, now though he will quite happily follow some poor jogger for a long distance with us shouting hopelessly behind, it usuall ends up with richard tackling him to the ground then wrestling to replace his lead. he comes back sometimes if he sees the treat in his hand...it depends which at the time looks more interesting.
hope your move has gone ok and good to see you back online.
