Post subject: Need your Help again! Reply with quote

Hi everyone, I haven't been on site for a few months as every spare minute been taken up house training etc our new Jack Russel. Last time I asked advice on getting two pups together (a Jack and a Westie) I thank my stars that I took your advice and settled for just getting the one pup. I could never have coped with two, the thought gives me nightmares. Thank you, thank you for stearing me in the right direction.
I now have another problem and know you will be able to help me. Sorry this is long!! Benjie is now 5 months and is great and very much loved, he is very affectionate and a character and for the last 2 months the freedom of the house. He nearly always does his 'wees etc' in the garden but at night still have to put paper down by back door. The big problem is he has started quite often pooing on the carpet in the lounge by my chair. I have tried all I can think of to stop this. He doesnt bark or ask to go out I have to keep opeing the door often during the day. He gets treat and praise and dont know where to go from here. Can anyone help.

thanks for replying, I am off to buy 'vic' tomorrow, makes sense as such strong smell. I have tried vinegar, disenfectant, special odour removers but no good, vic sounds promising.
This has only started since he had the run of the house, thats why I am still putting paper by back door at night. Before was confined to kitchen so had always gone on either paper by door or outside. Will let u know how vic works with Benjie. Jennifer

Could also be seperation anxiety.

Personally, I would go back to putting him in the kitchen at night, wont do him any harm and you know he is clean there.
