Post subject: Arthritic moggy? Reply with quote

Our oldest cat Polly, nearly 11, is showing signs of joint pains. She is a great hunter and as our garden is on a hillside and there are umpteen gates and fences all over the place, she is jumping up and down on and off things all the time.

However lately, she seems to wince and limp, sometimes licking a leg/paw when she jumps to the ground, particularly onto hard ground. I have looked at her paws and there is no damage to a pad or anything.

Does anyone know if there are equivalent supplements like cod liver oil/glucosamine that we give to dogs, that can be put in a cat's food .......... and more importantly that a cat will take?
No pills, that's impossible with my lot Rolling Eyes

Any ideas gratefully accepted.
Thanks

I have used synflex now for a couple of years on my dogs, its works wonders and you just add it to their food Smile
