Well folks,as some of you are aware a while ago phil and i made the decision to try and rehome sparky because of his behaviour,it was getting to much for us. However things started to improve and when we were trying to train him etc...he seemed to be finally listening to us. So we decided to give it another go with him.
However his behaviour recently is growin increasingly difficult again. When myself or phil is at home alone sparky is ok,gets a little hyper but generally is fine. However when one of us trys to leave for work he gets really wound up he will start barking alot, whining, jumping up and trying to bite at your jumper or coat as if to say dont go. Also when we get in,more so when i come home from work he get aggressive with the other dogs. He will shoulder barge them, jump all over them, try and start a fight with them, and last nite attacked poppy for the third time this year. And poppy tried to retaliate, but bit phils foot,by accident we think.
I know alot of you may think that we are just passing this problem on to someone else. But we do genuienly believe that he could make someone a lovely pet,and he just needs to be the only dog and needs more time for training which i dont think we can do. Please dont judge me for the decision we have made, its just we wana give sparky a fair chance and if that means rehoming him with someone who would be able to spend that time with training him then i think we are acting in his best interests

Awww sorry to hear that I have had to rehome a dog before and i know what a horrible decision it is to have to make so i fully sympathise with what you are going through. Why would anyone judge you hun? At the end of the day you are doing what you believe is best for Sparky! so many people would just have thier dog P.T.S at the first sign of trouble so for you to be rehoming him and trying to find the best outcome for him is brilliant
well have rung some places and so far all are full, not good. But there is one place we would love sparky to go as we think they would give him the best chance possible. shall se how we get on and shall keep you all updated
