How has the recession affected you?

Postby petchatlover » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:15 am

Just wondered if you feel worse off or better off in the recession. I think it maybe over now :-) or almost over anyway.

Its affected us, Ash was made redundant last april and we are both still looking for work. There seems to be 1000's of people going for the same job all the time :(

Sorry to hear that I'm sure you will find something soon. I know what you mean, there seems to be no jobs. When we were in France the chickens were £5-8, and most foods were double the price. We could not afford to stay out there and we are glad to be back in the UK. Hopefully things will get better soon for us all. Once the election is out the way (I hope)

Juuuuuuuuust about to become redundant, never been before, ill keep you informed of it all! recession seems to have made our town provide little employment opportunities so it may well be back to school, if finances can permit that. I feel however i have been working for so long, so what i am facing many many people have been going through for years.
