My pets..

Quick intro into myself:

I'm shorty88 (as i am 4 foot) my real name is Desiree
I'm 40 years living with my friend Mark in Manchester, near Bolton.
I have 2 teenagers and a boy 19 and girl 18 years.
We also have an aquarium with fish, a rabbit and 2 cats (see below)
My hobby are also animals, swimming, computer, drawings, poems, reading tarot cards
I also like painting.

Researching feline hyperthyroid I found this very superior website. We have two kittys:

Cathy: The story goes that cathy was abandoned as a kitten (8 - 9 months old) by someone who decided they didn't want her anymore near Bolton. She then made her own way by making friends in flat building. She has many names and many friends. I met her when she meowed herself hoarse when one of her many benefactors who always traveled unwittingly left her locked in his condo. That sweet little face and all the meowing put all neighbors into hyperdrive to find a way out for Sasha, Misty, Sheba, Smokey, Sweetie, Blackie etc.

She adopted us in 1998. Today she is 12-14 years old. When anyone new moves in she is always first on the scene to welcome and check out the new neighbors. She has tags and I can't tell you how many calls have asked ... is she yours? The answer always is she is the courtyard cat and pretty much from her viewpoint you are her responsibility.

Kitty two is Baby/Betty blue eyes: Baby was put outside by next door neighbors without front claws for months. It took a little bit to catch her and a very long time to get her comfortable. She likes Ted. Her first foray out of the closet she cloistered herself in was to ... I like Ted. I will try to post pictures on here at some point.
